At almost 39million views as I write this, I am taking a gamble here that you have likely already seen the video I’m about to talk about.
It’s the sort of content I tend not to watch. I almost deleted the email from my father that said “Watch This!”. Too many emails, too much to do, waaaaaay too busy.
So maybe you missed it, ran passed it, didn’t give it a second look?
Today I didn’t ‘busy it away’ and I watched the video. My heart opened. My jaw dropped. My eyes filled with tears. I think I cried the entire eight minutes and seventeen seconds of the damn thing. And it takes a lot to get me even teary-eyed watching content.
It made me think, what else am I missing? What else am I running past and not giving a second look?
What are you running past? What are you missing as you rush through life being busy? I’m not suggesting you spend the week watching YouTube videos, please don’t, but what might happen if you slow down just enough to hear the smaller voices in your team or even the small voice in you?
